Met Film School’s short courses have given students a kick-start in their practical careers within film, TV and the media throughout it’s history.  From helping students to build new skills on-set, to supporting them with their ideas for short or feature film, the range of work experience gained by graduates shows just how the industry is developing and changing around us.

Chika Anadu is a recent graduate of the Four-Week Directing course.  Her first feature film ‘Boy for Boy’ which she wrote and directed, had it’s premiere at the BFI London Film Festival in 2014.  It went on to win Best Film in an African language at the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).  You can see the trailer for the film here.

David Bond is one of our first graduates of the popular From Story to Screen in Eight Weeks short course.  Students are trained on industry standard software to confidently shoot, edit and produce their work.  David’s latest film ‘Project Wild Thing’ is an inspiring feature documentary looking at the effects of technology on the children of today. Watch the official trailer for the film here.
