MetFilm School Berlin MA Directing students who graduated from the course in 2018, collaborated with one of the giants of the fashion world, Hugo Boss for their industry project.

The Industry Project module is a key element of postgraduate courses at MetFilm School and working with external clientsis an integral part of the teaching ethos at the School. Students respond to a professional brief from an external client and produce a piece of content, just as they would in their future careers. Past projects clients include Berlin based charities, start-ups, NGOs and independent artists.

Hugo Boss set the students a brief to create two videos with a view towards encouraging cinematic talent and showcasing the brand in a new perspective. The first of the two videos: Stand Out was the directorial debut of MA Directing student Prashant Prakash Satyam and Arian Dalladaku and explored the theme of standing out from the crowd.

The second film: Hugo Naturewas directed by Lior Shrem, Manu Sobral and Vanessa Vella, and was inspired by Berlin’s connection to nature. Both videos featured clothing from the Hugo Logo Collection and are featured on the Hugo Boss website.
