Marcus Rodert

Berlin based director, writer, illustrator and graphic designer. Currently running his own creative production agency Still Woodgrain specialising in live action commercial work as well as fiction and documentary film.
Bia Vilela

Bia Vilela is an award winning Brazilian scriptwriter and director who works has been selected for several international film festivals such as Curta Cinema (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), Bogocine (Bogotá, Colombia), Bogotá IFF (Bogotá, Colombia) and Mostra Contorno (Uberlândia, Brazil).
Bia is currently working on Harakiri, a short film in post production and developing her first feature film.
Eduardo Mattos

Eduardo Mattos is a Brazilian artist and filmmaker who has been living and working in Berlin since 2015. In the past decade he has been working as director of photography and contemporary visual artist. His graduation film ‘Nocturno’ was selected for 47 festivals and awarded with seven prizes throughout Europe, America and Asia.
Ifeatu Nnaobi

Ifeatu recently made the Africa Centre’s Artist in residency list, as featured by the National Geographic Society. She is a celebrated documentary filmmaker whose work has been screened internationally.
Arian Dalladaku

Film Director from Kosovo based in Berlin. His short film “Three” has been awarded the “Jury Prize” in “First Step International Film Festival”– Albania. “Shati (2015)” was selected by the association of film and television schools group (CILECT) presenting the region of Albania in 2015.
Vanessa Vella

In early 2019 MA Directing Alum Vanessa Vella was hired by Maltese television company TVM to direct several episodes of the television drama ‘L-Għarusa.’ Vanessa has produced and worked on commercials, corporate videos, music videos, short and experimental films, and TV programmes. She is also a media educator and trainer, having delivered undergraduate courses, seminars and private workshops about skills in the creative media industry. Vanessa continues to develop her knowledge and skills in filmmaking by being involved in projects both locally and abroad. She graduated from her MA in Directing at MetFilm School in Berlin (2018) where she gained more experience in the director’s craft by working with actors and crew from around the world. Her work has won awards from the Malta Cine Circle and the Malta Television Awards. Most recently Vanessa has launched her own video marketing agency Athanor Media.
