Maroussia studied on our Eight Week Documentary Filmmaking course in 2015. Currently works as documentary filmmaker and writer from Brussels. Previously, she worked for several years as a reporter and policy analyst at the UN, EU institutions and OECD on development and ecological issues. In 2015, she decided to quit her job and launch a filmmaking agency, Impact Storytelling, in order to open up new perspectives on societal issues and increase the positive impact of NGOs and associations.
Ewan is a freelance sound recordist, cameraman and production assistant who specialises in observational documentaries. He is passionate about the natural world and has studied wildlife and environmental photography as well as documentary film making. Ewan recently worked on the BBC’s Natural World series including ‘H is for Hawk the Next Chapter’, ‘Giraffes: Africa’s Gentle Giants’ (narrated by David Attenborough) and ‘Kangaroo Dundee and Other Animals’. He has also worked in documentary and factual entertainment including the RTS award winning series SAS Who Dares Wins for Minnow Films and several drama reconstructions with Red Planet Pictures in which he also had a small acting role.
